Real Time Auto Repair
An inspection is only worth what’s written down. Ours come with a photo report — every finding tagged green, yellow or red, with measurements and an estimate for anything that needs attention — that you can forward to a seller, a buyer, a fleet manager or an insurance company.
Pre-purchase inspections: $129 for cars and light trucks. A 90-minute, top-to-bottom look at a used vehicle before you buy it, including a scan for stored and pending codes, frame and body checks for prior collision repair, fluid condition, tire and brake measurements, and a road test. We can also do it at the seller’s location through our mobile truck for an added travel charge.
Courtesy inspections: a free 40-point inspection with every service, so you always know where the car stands.
Salem-area vehicles need a passing DEQ test to renew registration. The test itself is done at a DEQ station. If your vehicle failed, or the check engine light is on and you know it won’t pass, Real Time Auto Repair diagnoses the actual cause — oxygen sensors, catalytic converters, EVAP leaks, misfires — and repairs it so it passes, rather than resetting the light and hoping.
Diagnosis: $99 for the first hour, credited toward the repair. Repairs are quoted in writing before any work starts.
